Non-prescription lenses and accessories
For all non-prescription lenses (Exc Sunglass Lenses) and accessories order direct from the shop and pay by credit/debit card in the usual way. Freepost to the UK available.
Prescription Lenses and Sunglass Lenses
I’ve made ordering prescription and sunglass lenses as easy and stress free as I can. Just ring me, Catherine, on 01253 795 523 or 07767 168 822 to request a FREEPOST Reglaze Pack – I’ll tell you exactly what you need to do, and please feel free at this point to ask me any questions you want. I’m always happy to discuss at length any queries you might have. It’s always a good idea to have your prescription to hand when you call me.
Included in your Reglaze Pack is:
- A sturdy flat pack cardboard box to keep your glasses safe – click here for video instructions on how to assemble it if you need them.
- Bubble Wrap to further help protect your glasses.
- An order form – if you need your glasses urgently you can print off an order form by clicking here and send your glasses yourself. Important, please do not include your glasses case as they are often too bulky to pass through a letter box.
When you have received the Reglaze Pack, please complete the simple order form for contact details, and return it with your recent optical prescription (or a copy), your glasses (wrapped in the provided Bubble Wrap) and just pop it into a local post box. There’s no need to enter confusing lenses details on the form as I’ll have discussed your requirements with you over the phone, and I will have kept a record of what we have discussed.
(Please Note: With expensive or irreplaceable frames, for added security, I’d recommend paying to have the package tracked and signed with Royal Mail Special Delivery as the Freepost service isn’t insured for loss or damage ). I then charge just £5 extra for Special Delivery for the return postage when wanted.
When I receive your Reglaze Pack, I’ll ring you to discuss and confirm your lens options, answer any more queries you may have, and finally take payment. Your glasses will then be reglazed and returned to you – usually within 2 to 12 working days (depending on the type of lenses).
Payment methods: Credit/Debit Card – Paypal – Bank Transfer
When I call you to confirm the order details, this is when I take payment for the lenses. You can pay by Credit/debit card over the phone, Paypal or do a bank transfer. I will provide bank transfer details once I know which payment method you prefer.
Credit Card Fraud:
To prevent fraudulent payments being made by credit/debit cards, occasionally I may ask for photo ID or two recent utility bills to be provided. If proof of identity isn’t supplied when asked for, I will be unable to supply new lenses.
